"Getting to Zero: Zero new HIV infections. Zero deaths from AIDS-related illness. Zero discrimination" is the theme of World AIDS Day 2012 on 1 December. Life-saving medications called antiretrovirals have reduced new HIV infections and deaths. The 2015 target of 15 million HIV-infected people on antiretroviral medicines worldwide looks more achievable now than ever before. |
